A. Milton Baker, age 74, of Nibley, Utah passed away peacefully at his home in Nibley, surrounded by his loving wife and family on June 9, 2015. He was born Nov. 11, 1940 in Teasdale, Utah, a son of Alfred and Marva Mary (Williams) Baker. He graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1959. He received his BS Automotive Engineer from Utah State University.

Milt married the love of his life, Carolyn Preece, December 20, 1963 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Bishop, Young Men's President, In a Stake Presidency, as a Temple Worker, and he and his wife served a full time mission in the Philippines.

He enjoyed gardening and was the recipient of the beautiful yard award. He liked 4-wheeling, cooking, fishing, shooting, Nascar, sporting events and playing with his grandkids.

Milt is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; Children, Shannon, Randall and Penny Baker, Teresa and Thomas Jones, Jennifer and Kenny Holmes and Matthew Baker, Shauntell and Abel Kanigan; 20 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother and sister Heber and Doris Baker, Meleta and Robert Tayler and Colton Baker of Pason.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Karen Baker.

Burial will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. in the Teasdale Cemetery in Teasdale, Utah, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
