Robert E. Archibald, 62, English, died at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, at his home.

A native of Crawford County, born Nov. 27, 1943, he was the son of the late Shelby Archibald and Pearl Bye.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Fern Archibald and Dorothy Noblitt, and a brother, Earl Dean Archibald.

Survivors include two brothers, Jim Archibald of New York and Don Archibald of English, and five sisters, Sylvia Roberts of Jeffersonville, Thelma Seacat of Milltown, Betty Conrad of English, Daisy Tucker of Taswell and Pat Highfill of Eckerty.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown.

Funeral: Wednesday, June 28, 2 p.m., at the funeral home with burial in El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown.

Officiant: Brother John Bye.
