Funeral services fare Friday, June 9, 1995 at 1 p.m. at the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd with Ivan Odor officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery.
Elva G. Parks was born May 11, 1902 in Isabella County to Christian and Jane Welling. She married Walter Parks in 1920 in Shepherd. He preceded her in death in 1970.
She was a member of the Joe Ulch VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Shepherd and the Gold Star Mothers.
Mrs. Parks is survived by one daughter, Lois Louise (Don) Packer of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Darrell (Mary) Parks of Shepherd, 15 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Jack and a daughter Betty Schleigh; one grandson; a granddaughter; three sisters and one brother.
