Ronald William Lund Ronald William Lund, of Roy, Utah, passed away due to natural causes on Monday, June 8, 2015 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.

Ronald was born to William E. Lund and Ruby R. (Fisher) Lund on May 19, 1927 in Ogden, Utah. He married Vie White of Beaver, Utah on June 25, 1954 in the St. George LDS Temple.

Ronald was raised and educated in Los Angeles, California. He moved to Ogden in 1969 and then to Roy in 1971.

Ronald was a High Priest in the Roy 9th and North Park Wards. He was active in many callings and was especially happy to be a faithful home teacher and a worker in the LDS Spanish Name Records Extraction and Indexing programs. He served a full-time LDS mission for two and a half years in Uruguay in the early 1950s.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He graduated from Los Angeles City College in General Engineering and worked in the engineering field in California and Utah. He retired from the Utah Department of Transportation in 1992.

Surviving are his wife, Vie White Lund, his children Paul Lund and wife Janelle, Janet (Lund) Heiser and husband Thane, Karen (Lund) Manning and husband Alan, Steven Lund, and his sisters, Elaine (Lund) Fowler and Nedra (Lund) Gohnert. He has eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 1 pm.
