Services for Freda E. LaPrate, 80, of St. Luke's Nursing Home, who died Saturday in Oswego Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home, Parish. Burial will be in Carley Mills Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 7430 Main St.
Mrs. LaPrate was born in Mace Hill. She lived in Mattydale before moving to Parish in 1954. She was formerly employed by Key Bank in Parish and the Parish post office.
Mrs. LaPrate was a life member of the Free Methodist Church, Fulton. She was a member of the senior citizen club in Parish and Pulaski.
Surviving are a son, Gerald of Parish; a daughter, Ruth DeBottis of Endfield, Ct.; two brothers, Mace of Roanoke, Va. and Ivan Thorn of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
