Actor, Composer. He appeared in numerous movies and television shows during his career, including, "Deep South" (1939), "Porgy and Bess" (1959), "CarWash" (1976), "Buck and the Preacher" (1972), "The Black Stallion" (1979) and played Sam the pianist from 1955 to 1956 in the weekly television version of Casablanca.As a writer, Muse composed and co-wrote the story for the 1938 Bobby Breen musical, "Way Down South" and during World War II,he served as a member of the Hollywood Victory Committee that arranged the appearance of stars overseas and Muse made hospital tours to entertain wounded soliders. In 1973, he was inducted into the Black Filmmaker Hall of Fame.
