KELLEY --- Near Moultry, Ohio, April 24, 1896, Bro. Alpheus Kelley, age 43 years, 1 month and 8 days. Our brother passed through much sorrow. Two companions preceded him to the spirit world. Six children are left. Funeral services conducted by the writer in the Himes Church to a large audience of many friends. J. F. Kahler.
Alpheus was received into the Reading Church of the Brethren on Feb. 14 1890. And according to the Church records he was born Feb. 11, 1853. Alpheus remarried after the death of Anna, to a woman name Susan (maiden name unknown) . She died on May 13, 1892 from childbirth complications.
