At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, March 15, 2015, Mrs. Ginette Laforest of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 59 years. Born at Edmundston in 1955, she was a daughter of Conrad Roussel and of the late Lucille Desjardins.
She is survived by her special friend for the past 15 years, Amos Hansen and his family, one daughter, Denise Cotter Campbell (Jody) of Prince George, Virginia, one son, Richard Laforest (Annie) of Grand Falls, three grandchildren, Crystal, Breanne and Austin, her father, Conrad Roussel of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, one sister, Guilda Levesque (Daniel) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, five brothers, Robert (Micheline), Marcel (Marie-Reine) and Serge of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Hermel (Juliette) of Saint-Jacques and Alain of Ottawa, Ontario as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, her sister, Colette Corbin and four brothers, Jacques, Gabriel, Mario and Daniel Roussel.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday, June 11th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, June 12th from 2 to 4 p.m.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, June 12th at 4 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Cemetery.
