The Dispatch, Wednesday, February 19, 1908, page 4 – DIED Saturday night, Mrs. Susan McCrary, widow of Mr. Levi McCrary, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs J F Hedrick of Lexington, age 78. Mrs. McCrary had been sick a week, and pneumonia developed at the last. Services were held at the house on Monday by Rev. A L Stanford, and Rev J W Clegg conducted the burial at Ebenezer, the old family church and graveyard. A large number of friends and relatives were present. Mrs. McCrary is survived by five children: Messrs. J L and R Lee McCrary, and Mrs J F Hedrick, Mrs P E Sowers, and Mrs David Beck .
