Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Allen, of 302 South Main street, were callled upon Saturday night to bear the loss of their younger son and youngest of three children, Kendrick Leroy, whose sickness has been noted. Death came at 12:30 o'clock after a serious illness of only a week with pneumonia, although the little one had been sick more or less for a long time. Kendrick was aged 11 months and 37 days, and in his short span of life he had become such a part of the household heart, that his untimely passing away will be ever mourned. Funeral services will be held, at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Wm. H. Perdew, and interment will be made in Oakland cemetery.
