He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Roberta Sinapi of Cranston; a son, Bruce of West Warwick; a sister, Lilian Yates of Warwick; a brother, Robert Ritchotte of St. Augustine, FL; and two granddaughters.
He was the brother of the late Doris DeSilva.
Burial with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
