Billye, as she rathered be known as was born in Levelland Texas, Dec. 3, 1948. The youngest of four children, she would eventually graduate from Foothill High School In Bakersfield, CA in 1968. She would then marry twice, To Bill Coleman and Dewey Knight III. From Dewey, she would bring a son, Samuel Thomas. She would pass away in 1994 two years after moving to Brainerd, MN. Preceeding her in death was her brother, Winifred Eugene, at birth in 1938, her father, Samuel Heywood, in 1966, and her step-brother Sammy Ray in 1978. After her death, her mother Ina Stanford would pass away in 1997.
Survivors include her son, Samuel Knight. Her brother James Stanford. 3 nephews, Jamie, Michael, and Jeff Stanford and 2 nieces Christine and Stephanie Stanford.
