Joyce McDonald McWhorter Barnes, 81, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mrs. Barnes retired from the US Army Missile Command and was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Sue McWhorter Duhlstine; son, Randy Joe McWhorter; mother, Frances Ellen McDonald; father, Ray McDonald; sister, Alice Jones; brother, Jimmy McDonald; and brother-in-law, Bobby Eubanks.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
