Patrick G. Gorman, 69, of Evansville passed away Saturday June 6, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born May 12, 1946 in Troy, Indiana to Guy and Leona (Kuntz) Gorman.
Patrick retired from SBC after 37 years of service . He was past president of CWA local 4700 and also served as vice president of Indiana State AFL/CIO for 27 years. Patrick was sergeant of arms of Southern Indiana Labor Council.
Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Leona (Kuntz) Gorman and father, Guy Gorman.
He is survived by his wife,
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 7:00 pm Monday June 8, 2015 with a memorial service at 7:00 pm at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710. Visitation will continue from 9:30 - 10:00 am Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W Mill Rd, Evansville, IN 47710.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W Mill Rd, Evansville, IN 47710. Father William Dietsch will be officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to support an improvement project at the 80 Conservation Club in his memory.
