Arlington Heights - Elvira E. Nelson, 98, was born October 26, 1916 to Gustav and Mary (nee Niemeyer) Behrens and passed away May 28, 2015. Elvira was preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Nelson and 6 brothers, Ed, Art, Gilbert, Elmer, Herb and Ralph and 4 sisters, Emma, Alma, Lydia and Mildred. Elvira is survived by many nieces and nephews. Elvira was kind, caring and a devout Christian. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 South Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
