Glenda June (Johns) Pennington, 72, of Fenelton, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. She was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Adrian, daughter of the late Fred and Elma Irene (Grey) Johns. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother who adored her grandchildren and her dog, Cassie. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Russell Pennington, of Fenelton; daughters, Darla (Bryce) Anthony, of Butler, and Dana (James) Flick, of Butler; son, Todd Pennington, of Fenelton; five grandchildren, Jordan and Matthew Anthony, Sarah and Emily Flick and Carissa Pennington; two sisters, Doris (Howard) Harshman, of Kittanning, and Gaye (Lewis) Hindman, of East Brady; brother, Terry Johns, of Kittanning; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant twin siblings, Ollie and Oliver Johns; sister, Martha Boyer; and two brothers, Benton and Eugene Johns. The family will receive friends from 6 until the time of a memorial service at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, in the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME in Worthington, with the Rev.
