Clarence O. Harris
Clarence O. Harris, 64, 8108 N. 2nd St, a Rockford resident for 29 years, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in his home after suffering a heart attack. He was a sheet metal worker for 34 years. For the past five years, he worked for Cederholm and Sons, In.
He was born April 10, 1891, in Edgar County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Harris. He married Ica Smith July 31, 1919, in Indianapolis, Ind.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Long, Harrison, a son, Wilbur, Norfolk, Va; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Delehanty funeral home, 6518 N. 2nd St, where friends may call from 7 to 8:30 o'clock Tuesday night.
