Until that time, she was a life-long resident of Pike County. She was born and raised in the Enon Community where she and her husband, Delma King lived, worked and raised their family and were members of Ramah Church.
After his death in 1973, Mrs. King moved to Troy. She graduated from Troy University and enjoyed many years as a member of the Pilot Club as well as teaching and taking classes at the Senior Center.
In addition to her husband, Delma King, she was predeceased by her parents, Benny and Ida Harden, Brothers J.C., Bryan, and Edgar Harden; sisters Agnes Locklar, Berea Garret, and Leona King. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:30 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
