David J. Culler died at the Union hospital at Dover, Ohio Saturday night at the age of 81 years. Mr. Culler in recent years made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Jennie Shriver at New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was the son of David Culler, Sr. and he was born on the old Culler farm north of Louisville. His wife died several years ago but he is survived by five sons and one daughter, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A number of brothers and sisters also are living. Mr. Culler is remembered by many of the older residents as a man of upright character. Funeral services were held at the Center Church of the Brethren Wednesday afternoon and they were in charge of Rev. Oliver Royer and Rev. M. M. Taylor. Burial was made in the Center Cemetery.
