Bonnie Ratliff, 94, of Yakima went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2015. Bonnie was born March 14, 1921 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Lee Burton and Maude (Childers) Burton. Bonnie was married to Charles S. Ratliff on December 31, 1951 in Columbus, Indiana. The couple moved to Yakima in 1954 (sixty-one years ago) and in 1955 joined the Broadway Christian Church, which she was very active in. Bonnie was a stay at home mother of three. She worked for the Yakima School District teaching children to read. Survivors include two sons, Stephen Ratliff and Daniel Ratliff, both of Yakima; two siblings out of fifteen, a younger brother Lee Burton, and a younger sister Pauline Perkins, both of Indiana. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty six years Charles S Ratliff and her daughter, Cathy Jo Columbus. Viewing will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
