FUNERAL OF MR GORDON OF PARKHILL.
On Thursday the remains of Mr John Gordon Cumming Skene of Pitlurg and Dyce, who died at San Remo, Italy, on the 20th ultimo, were consigned to their final resting place within the family burying-ground near Parkhill House, Dyce. The body of the deceased was conveyed by rail from London to Parkhill on the 6th inst., to await interment at noon, the hour announced for the funeral, a large company assembled at Parkhill House to pay the last tribute of respect to gentleman whom during his lifetime all had much occasion to value and esteem. To the memory of MARIA, wife of John Gordon C Skene of Pitlurg and Dyce who departed this life at Parkhill, June 23rd 1857 aged 31 years.
Also JOHN GORDON CUMMING SKENE, Esqr, of Pitlurg and Dyce, husband of the above, who was born the 9th February 1827 and who died at Sam Remo, Italy, the 20th February 1882.
In memory of ALEXANDER GORDON CUMMING SKENE, Esq, only child of the above. Born June 14, 1857, died June 4 1894. Interred at Kensal Green.
