Gus Benson was born October 25, 1865, in Stockholm, Sweden and died May 24, 1933. At the age of seventeen, he came to America and settled at Davenport. At an early date he came to Osceola county where he has resided up until his death. He has lived in Harris and Ocheyedan for a number of years and has many acquaintances and friends.
He leaves three children and six stepchildren, and his wife.
Burial was made in the Ocheyedan Cemetery.
