Aunt Audette's first husband was John Cockrell, with whom she had a daughter, Deborah Johnette Cockrell. Johnette later changed her last name to Feaster and is now married to Ronnie "Jeff" Jeffcoat. John Earl Cockrell was killed in Korea. Audette then married Ralph Feaster and had 3 more children; Dale, Vicki and Phyllis.

COLUMBIA SC - Services for Audette Black Feaster, 79, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Interment in Woodridge Memorial Park. Mrs. Feaster died August 18, 2011. Born in Saluda SC, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Quinton Black and Jessie Olean Kirkland Black. She was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church; and had retired from Palmetto Health Baptist after 22 years of service. Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, Ralph Feaster of Columbia; daughters, Johnette Jeffcoat (Ronnie) of Columbia, Vicki Swygert (Dewey) of Pelion, and Phyllis Jovanelly of Lexington; son, Dale Feaster of Columbia; sister, Sue Bedenbaugh (Harold) of N. Augusta; brothers, Bobby Black (Elaine) and Larry Black, both of Saluda; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The State (Columbia, SC), August 20, 2011.
