Mr. Hallman was preceded in death by his parents, James Andy and Marjorie Johnson Hallman
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Catherine Parker Hallman, son, Jarred Parker Hallman and daughter-in-law Morgan Hallman; granddaughters, Tanner and Cameron Hallman, all of Dallas, TX; brother, Terry Hallman (Nita) of Cottondale; aunt, JoAnne Weaver of Cottondale; sister-in-laws, Linda McGraw (David) of Duncanville; Jackie Duclos (Eldon) of Tuscaloosa; Nita Hallman (Terry) of Cottondale; and several other family members and friends.
Randy was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School, and Shelton State Community College. He served his country through the Alabama Army National Guard from 1971 until 1998. He was a member of the Taylorville Baptist Church and the Rising Virtue Masonic Lodge #4, Tuscaloosa. Beloved Randy-Dad-Paw Paw-Fuzz, you will be missed! Your love for your family will never be forgotten. You were so happy to have a son and loved Jarred with all your heart. Then you were blessed with a daughter-in-law, Morgan, whom you loved as if she were your own daughter. Yet the greatest gift was having two granddaughters, Tanner and Cami. How you loved your girls! Now you have received your Heavenly Home and we will see you again one day. To say we love you and miss you seems so inadequate, yet so true. One day we will be together again; until then you remain in our
thoughts and memories. Thank you for so many wonderful memories which we all will cherish.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hallman, David McGraw, Brian McGraw, Marty Weaver, Richard Swindal and Neil Bogert.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of Faith and Fellowship Bible Class at Taylorville Baptist Church, Employees of Administrative Medicine (C&P Clinic and Employee Health Clinic) at Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, nephews, Phillip McGraw and Ryan Burkhalter, Rev. Jimmy Garner, and special neighbors Gary and Linda Stone and Jeremy and Charla Vines.
Special appreciation is extended to Dr. Reginald Motley and the fantastic nurses of Medical ICU and Six North/Central at DCH Regional Medical Center. Your compassion and tender care will never be forgotten.
Memorial condolences may be made to the Taylorville Baptist Church Building Fund, The Gideons, or if preferred through flowers or plants.
