TUSCALOOSA | Marjorie Johnson Hallman, age 84, of Tuscaloosa, died Dec. 21, 2013. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Jason Hallman and Rev. Terry D. Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Andy Hallman; her parents, Clarence "Wing" and Margaret Johnson; and her sister, Clarice "Kat" Johnson Colburn.
Survivors include her sons, James Randy Hallman (Cathy) and Terry Dean Hallman (Nita); sister, Joanne Weaver (Thomas); brother, Clarence Johnson (Jean); grandchildren, Jason Hallman (Rachel), Jarred Hallman (Morgan) and Sara Michelle Yeager (Beau); eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Marty Weaver, Caleb Weaver, Chris Cox, Justin Cox, Jordan Cox, and Beau Yeager.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Inside-Out Prison Ministry.
