Jeannette Edwards, age 81, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. Born September 26, 1933 in Clarksville, Florida, Jeannette was the daughter of the late Lee Williams and Opal Williams Linton. She and her husband, the late Oliver Ray Edwards, worked in their appliance repair service for many years. She was a member of Oceanway Congregational Holiness Church.
Other than her father, Lee Williams, her step-father, Willard Linton and mother, Opal Linton, and her husband, Oliver Ray Edwards, Sr., she was preceded in death by her son, Oliver Ray Edwards, Jr.
Survivors include four daughters, Lana Rickoff, Learay Butler, Loraine Goble and Lomae Shuman; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. CT, Thursday, May 28 in Pippin Cemetery in Clarksville with Reverend Dorothy Taylor officiating.
