Scott K. Jackson of Tilghman died at Memorial Hospital in Easton on Friday, March 29, 2002. He was 77. Born Dec. 3, 1924 in Tilghman, he was the son of the late G. Frank and Elsie Lowery Jackson. After attending school in Talbot County, he worked at the Tilghman Packing Company until serving in the U.S. Army during WWII. Following his release from active duty, he returned to the Tilghman Packing Company until 1966. Later that year, he began working at the Memorial Hospital in Easton as a nursing assistant until his retirement in the early 1980’s. He was a member of Tilghman United Methodist Church and a life member of the E. E. Streets Memorial Post 5118 VFW in Easton. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, the former Helen Davis, whom he married July 10, 1965; a sister, Geraldine Dudrow of Tilghman; a niece, Phyllis H. Sadler of Tilghman; a cousin, Peggy Pusey of Salisbury; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 1 p.m. at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Easton.
