Wife of William Howard Buckalew. Daughter of Sylvester R. and Nettie J. (Whipple) Splitstone.

"MRS. WILLIAM BUCKALEW

Mrs. Hazel May Buckalew, 56, of 610 Fruit Avenue, Farrell, died in Buhl Hospital at 9 a. m. today Sept. 23, 1947, following an extended illness.

She was born in Farnham, O., on Jan. 20, 1891, the daughter of Sylvester R. and Josephine Whipple Splitstone, and had lived in Farrell for 31 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Eastern Star, of which she was past matron.

Mrs. Buckalew, leaves her husband, William; two daughters, Mrs. David Cline and Miss Gertrude Buckalew, at home; a sister, Mrs. W. J. Horton of Farrell, and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday at the home."
