Mrs. Mary Lee Vaden, age 96, of Austonio, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Vaden was born January 13, 1919 in the Ash Community to M. W. and Georgia E. Ash Crofford. She was a housewife and a member of the Ash Church of Christ.

Mrs. Vaden is survived by daughter, Jo Ann James of Houston; son, Phillip Vaden of Austonio; grandchildren, Tina Sewell of Loco Hills, N. M., Stephen Bartee of Weldon, Paula Elston of Livingston, Kayla Brendt of Pasadena, Stacy Cox of Belton and Greg Vaden of Grapeland; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Hallmark of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by husband, Leroy Vaden; great-grandson, Michael Berwick; brother, Marvin Crofford; sisters, Lila Alford, Tible Brewton, Mattie Womack, Bessie Milliff, Otis Allee, Effie McDonald and Florence Chaires.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee Vaden will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rick Kelley officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
