Michael James Posey, age 36 of Nampa, Idaho died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Viewing will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Flahiff Funeral service, Caldwell. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Wilder Cemetery. Refreshments and gathering will take place following the service in the hospitality room at Flahiff Funeral Chapel for all who choose to attend. Michael James Posey was born Oct. 1, 1969 to Lesta Hall Posey and Dan T. Posey in Moscow, Idaho. Michael lived his early years in Moscow, Coeur D´Alene, Idaho and Orange, Calif. When he was 10 years old, he came to live with his grandparents Jim and Ardella Berger in Pullman, Wash. and attended Pullman, Washington schools, graduating from Pullman High school in 1988. He then attended Spokane Community College for one semester majoring in art. He later married and Michael James and Shelli Posey had a son Ambrose. He was later divorced and moved to Idaho where his grandparents retired. His primary occupation was framing work in construction and due to a permanent inoperable back injury on the job in October of 2004, he was required to discontinue that occupation and was presently in vocational rehabilitation. He was planning to start college on September 18th for a two year course in graphic arts. He was extremely talented in his art work and did hundreds of outstanding drawings and was a very talented tattoo artist. Michael was a loving, caring person with a tremendous amount of compassion and caring for all people. All the people who took the opportunity to know Michael loved him wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Michael loved the outdoors and loved fishing, water skiing, snow skiing, baseball, football and camping. He also loved animals especially snakes and reptiles. Michael is survived by his grandparents Jim and Ardella Berger, his mother Lesta Hall, father Dan Posey, son Ambrose Posey, daughter McKenzie Lynn Posey, stepchildren Michael, Tiercy, Adrian Messner and two god children Billie and Kenny, brothers Gregory Posey, Philip Posey (Libby), and sister Lori English, Uncle Steve Hall (Pat) cousins Michelle Axtell (Alex) and Sherri Jiminez (Brett) and many younger second cousins whom he loved dearly and many many friends who loved him just like a brother and called him their brother. Michael is in a better place now and we know he is in peace.Ê Michael will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.
