BROWNWOOD - Mrs. D.A. (Theo D.) Bowers, 55, a former resident of Bangs died in Austin Friday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Frist Baptist Church of Bangs with the Rev. J.B. Click officiating. Burial will follow in Bangs Cemetery under the direction of Weed-Corley Funeral Home of Austin. Born Sept. 25, 1918, in Coleman County, she had lived in Austin for two years. She married D.A. Bowers in Coleman County. Survivors are her husband of Austin; four sons, Sonny of Bangs, Robert A. and Ray, both of Austin and Terry of Fort Worth; three daughters, Jean Bowers of Lake Dallas, Mrs. Glenda Gregory of Fort Worth and Mrs. Rita Richards of Germany; two brothers, L.G. Duggins of Bangs and Tam Duggins of Rockport; six sisters, Mrs. Martha Eason of Bangs, Mrs. Marian Childes and Mrs. Ann Paul, both of Fort Worth, Marjorie Baker of Joshua and Mrs. Joy Divas of Fort Worth; her mother, Mrs. Alice Duggins of Bangs; and twelve grandchildren.
