WILLIAM J. JUPP
DURHAMVILLE – William J. Jupp, 82, Durhamville, RD 1, died March 5, 1951, at his home.
Mr. Jupp was born Jan. 19, 1869, in Plymouth, England, the son of John and Lucy Jupp. On Oct. 24, 1896, in Stacy Basin, he married Elizabeth S. Beck, who died December 23, 1940.
A resident of Rome since 1899, Mr. Jupp was a retired farmer. He was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Churchville, and was also a past master of New London Lodge, 420, F&AM a past patron of Vesta Chapter, New London Eastern Star Lodge, and a Royal patron of the John H. Allendorf Court, Order of the Amaranth in Rome.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be from the Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home at 2 Thursday. Burial will be St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Churchville.
