HUBBARD, Carol J. Age 68, of Hamilton passed away in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 10:08 p.m. She was born in Hamilton on March 16, 1936, the daughter of Samuel and Dora (Mosley) Rust. Carol was a member of the Hope Evangelistic Outreach Ministry and was employed as a central supply technician for Ft. Hamilton Hospital for twenty-four years, retiring in 1996. On May 17, 1953 in Hamilton, she was married to Edward Hubbard, and he preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by two nieces, Rhonda (Brad) DuBray, her godchild of Hamilton and Linda (John) Smith of South Place, California; four great-nieces and nephews and godchildren, Nathan (Stacy) Doty of Hamilton, Erica (Chet) Navy of Middletown, Brenna and Leah DuBray, both of Hamilton; a devoted brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lois Hubbard of Hamilton; a very devoted friend, Carol (Scott) Morgan of Houston, Texas; and family members Judy and Fred Philpot, and Pam and Terry Creech, both of Hamilton; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bradley, Samuel, and Roy Rust; and one sister, Lillian Landrum. Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rick Lawwill, Pastor of Hope Evangelistic Outreach Ministry, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
