Jodie was born on January 16, 1952 to Dewey and Betty Jensen. She passed away on May 16, 2015 after a 6 year battle with ovarian cancer. In spite of the challenges she faced, she remained positive and cheerful, a true inspiration to all that knew her.

She had a great love for God and loved to visit her favorite place, Moab. She was a very gifted and talented artist of portraits and landscapes. She enjoyed flower arranging, antiquing, and decorating her home for a place to be enjoyed by family and friends. She was a fiercely loyal, loving, compassionate and caring person, who dearly loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Jayson Christensen and daughter-in-law Tammy Christensen, mother Betty, 5 grandchildren: Ashley, Jayson Taylor, Emily, Colby and Madison, 5 brothers and sisters: Gayle, Vicky, Mike, Steve, and EJ, and best friend Linda Magro. She was preceded in death by her father.

Special thank you to the Midas Creek medical staff and Dr. John Dietlein for the extra special care and friendship they have provided her over the years.

A viewing and celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah.
