Mary Bolander-Braunsdorf was the second child of Lord Guilford and Belinda Bolander. She came to this area in 1882 with her family. On Dec. 13, 1885, she married Albert C. Braunsdorf of Parsons Kansas. They had three children, Harry Fred Braunsdorf (1886-1963), Nellie Braunsdorf-Kanitz (1890-1995), and Carl A. Braunsdorf (1891-1965).
AC Braunsdorf remarried to Harriette Ellen Hoke in about 1900. There were no children from this marriage, but Ellen is often credited for raising AC and Mary's children.
