James Edwin Lea, 82, and native of Robert, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was born on May 1, 1933, in Fluker, Louisiana. Mr. Lea was a United States Army Veteran.
Surviving are his son, James Allen Lea; daughters, Belinda Lea Walters, Rhonda Lea Cresswell; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Fuhrmann Ray Lea; wife, Ellen Dorothy Lea; father, Safronie Angelina Lea; mother, Ruth McElveen Segars; and brother, Wallace Lea.
Visitation and funeral services will all be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 11:00 am until the funeral at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Bankston Cemetery in Hammond.
