F. Wayne Webb Jr., 82, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at his Lowpoint home.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1933, in Peoria, Ill., to Frederick Wayne and Frieda Mae (Voight) Webb. He married Joan E. Bennington on June 7, 1964, in Metamora, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Daniel (Dawn) Webb, Darrin (Luanne) Webb, Markus (Amy) Webb, and Jerrod Webb; and sister, Jayne Forbis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wayne was a U.S. Army veteran of the 44th Infantry Division, serving in Korea and Japan. He was also a member of the 289th Army Band.

He enjoyed working with the American Legion Post 661 in Washburn and the local Boy Scout troop.

He worked as a teacher and school psychologist at Roosevelt Junior High School, Peoria Public School District 150; at Valley View District 96 in Romeoville; for the Special Education Association for Woodford County and Mackinaw Valley Special Education Association in Eureka; for Woodford County's Special Education programs; for the Tri-County Special Education and Bloomington Public Schools; and at Livingston County Special Services Unit.

Burial of ashes will be held in Bethel Cemetery in Lowpoint, Ill.
