Rebecca Wilson Thedford went home to be with Jesus after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 25, 2015. She was born at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Fla., on Nov. 30, 1961. She obtained a BA degree from Northwest Florida State College in 2009. She was employed as office manager at Apex Electrical Contractors.

She is the daughter of Edward and Helen Wilson. She leaves a daughter, Casey Preston; and sons, Jacob, Jeremy (Shelly), Joshua (Cassi), and Jordan. Also surviving are grandchildren, Alexis, Felix, Yogi, Theodore, and Oscar. She also leaves brothers, Roy (Dana), Eric (Sharon), and Sam (Debbie). She was a single mother devoted to her family. Special appreciation to doctors and staff at Emerald Coast Cancer Center and to Covenant Hospice and Covenant Community Church Family.

Visitation will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E. on Wednesday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be at Covenant Community Church on Thursday, May 28, at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Grabo officiating. Burial will be held immediately following in Beal Memorial Cemetery.
