June R. Warnstaff, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Wapello Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services for June will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will be in the Cranston Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of June. June Rose Kerschenske was born on June 17, 1931, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Emil and Ella (Bartelt) Kerschenske. She worked for Keller Ladders in Muscatine for 10 years. On March 17, 1978, June was united in marriage to Paul T. Warnstaff in Muscatine. She was a member of the Senior Circle, former member of the Salvation Army and enjoyed reading, cross-word puzzles, fishing and singing karaoke.
June will be deeply missed by her son, Roger Chapman, Jr. and wife, Sandra, of Muscatine; daughter-in-law, Sherrie VanDolah of Fulton, Illinois; step-daughter, Paula Humphries of Wapello; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Michael VanDolah, one step-son, Carl Warnstaff and one brother, Dale Kerschenske.
