She was born July 19, 1924, at Monterey, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by: Husband, James Ray Turner; sons, Terry Turner, Lucky and Theodore Tedder in infancy; brother, Joe, Elmer and Delmon Stricklan; sisters, Della Bone and Etta Stricklan; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Allan Tedder and Slugger Woods.

She is survived by: Son, Tommy Tedder Sr. (Alvena) of Bonne Terre; daughters, Melba Johnson of Caruthersville; Wanda Woods of Caruthersville, Brenda (Mrs. Gene) Owens of Bonne Terre, and Sherri (Mrs. Bobby) Richards of Doe Run; sister, Netta (Mrs. Utah) Chapman of Festus; brother, Charles "Chuck" Stricklan of Bismarck; sister-in-law, Judy Stricklan of Desloge; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
