Kathy McQuarters Ray, 52 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, May 25, 2015, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Friday, December 7, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Claudie McQuarters and the late Mildred Duke McQuarters.
She was a home-maker and member of Christ Church. Mrs. Ray, along with her father, helped organize the Millsfield Fire Department and has always remained a strong supporter.
Graveside services for Mrs. Ray will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee with Rev.Paul Hogue officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lynn Ray of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Perry Lynn "PeeWee" McQuarters (Barbara) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Mary Rose McQuarters of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two nephews, Justin McQuarters (Michelle) of Newbern, Tennessee and Jeff Reece of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one niece, Tammy Reeves (Adam) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and great nieces and nephews, Devon, Westin, Kayla, Colton, Christin, Julian, Chase, Callie, Lili and Maddie.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Claudie Thomas McQuarters.
Pallbearers will be Justin McQuarters, Jeff Reece, Timmy Enochs, Ronald Westmoreland, Larry Ricketts and Jackie Keeling.
