Janice died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, Louisiana. She was a registered nurse for over 30 years and worked as a dialysis nurse for over 20 years. She was presently employed at University Health Conway. Janice attended First West Church of West Monroe, LA.
Janice was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Lee Forrest; parents, Daniel “Mitt” Forrest and Helen Forrest.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Rusty Sims; children, Justin Sims and Sommer Sims; stepson, Brandon Sims; grandson, Cameron Pardue; siblings, Delores Bryan, D.H. Forrest, David Forrest, Flo Coldicott, Gary Forrest, Edith Herring, Audrey Williams, Tony Forrest, Robert Forrest, and Linda Howell; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tiffany Garner.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
