Morris G. Wood, 73, of Waynesburg R.D. 1 died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack at 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 12, 1985, in his home.
He was born October 14, 1911, in Washington Township, a son of William and Ola Fonner Wood.
He spent his entire life in Washington Township, where he was a well-known dairy farmer.
Mr. Wood was employed as a school bus driver for 29 years. He also served for eight years as a Washington Township supervisor.
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 461, Waynesburg.
His wife, Bernice Muckle Wood, died January 23, 1978.
Surviving are one daughter, one son, nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, and one brother.
One brother, Francis Wood, is deceased.
