"Mrs. Anna Saxton, 65 years old, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Gray of No. 159 North Main street. Her death resulted from a period of illness extending over the past year. The deceased was born in Naples, September 1, 1861, receiving her early education in that place. She was married later and finally came to Hornell to live. She had been a resident of this city for moe than 22 years and was quite well known. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lynn McDaniels of Bald Hill and Mrs. Hael Cole and Mrs. Gray of North Main street; four sisters {text missing], [sons] John Mack of Crosby Creek, Darwin Saxton of Bald Hill, Milo Saxton of Endicott and Irving Saxton whose address is unknown."
