Erin Marie Myers, 24 of State College died Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Washington County, Pa. She was born in College Township, Centre County on December 7, 1984 a daughter of Patricia A. "Patsy" Koshko Myers of State College and the late Larry E. Myers. She was a teacher at the Scranton School of the Deaf. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte. She was a 2003 graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and a 2008 graduate of Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. She was a member of the volleyball and track teams while in school, and she loved to read. Along with her mother she is survived by a half-brother Andrew Meyers of Texas and numerous aunts and uncles. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David and Theresa Koshko who were a tremendous influence on her life. Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg on Wednesday, October 14 2009 from 7 to 9 P.M. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Bellefonte on Thursday, October 15 at 9:00 A.M. with Father Neil Dadey officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co., Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
