Irene Myrtle Klinefelter was born to Melvin and Nina Morris, on January 19th 1938. She was educated at the East Bend Country School in North Carolina, graduating with the class of 1956. She later attended the Greensboro Business College, in Greensboro, North Carolina. After moving to California for a time, in 1965 she came to Marshalltown, Iowa. On September 19th, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska, she and Robert Klinefelter were united in marriage. Over the years, Irene worked in a variety of retail stores including Montgomery Ward and Ben Franklin. She was also a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Irene loved crocheting and cross-stitch, reading (especially books on cats), Crosswords, watching golf and her daily bible reading.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Robert Klinefelter, Gina Rosener, Larry Klinefelter, Patrick Klinefelter, grandchildren; Heather (Brad) Arndt, Robert Rosener, Cassie Klinefelter, Jesse Rosener, Ariel Klinefelter, Michelle Klinefelter, Daniel Klinefelter, Hannah Klinefelter, great-grandchildren; Chase Arndt, Hayden Arndt, Keelan Rosener, siblings; Kathy Banks and John Veld.
In death, she rejoins her parents; Melvin and Nina, brother; Paul Norris and her daughter in-law; Donna Klinefelter.
