Amber Rodgers, 32, of Wyandotte, Okla. passed away Monday October 29, 2012 at her home in Wyandotte.
She was born on October 19, 1980 to John Rodgers and Geraldine (Birdsong) Teehee.
She lived in the Wyandotte area all her life.
She volunteered at the Nutrient Center for the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe.
She liked animals, loved her dog Cujo and loved taken care of the kids especially her nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe and the Quapaw Tridbe.
She was preceded in death by her father John Rodgers.
She is survived by her mother and step-father Edward Teehee of the home, three brothers John Scott Rodgers and wife Tashina of Grove, Okla., Bryon Teehee of Wyandotte and Jeffery Teehee of Wyandotte. Also three sisters Madison Birdsong of Wyandotte, Mariah Birdsong of Wyandotte and Notha Williams of Oklahoma City, Okla. She is also survived by four nephews Dasan Teehee, Kenzen Teehee, John Scott Rodgers Jr. and Ethan Rodgers, five nieces Lexi Rodgers, Abbigail Rodgers, Merisah Williams, Alexus Williams and Kat Williams.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday November 1, 2012 at Seneca-Cayuga AOA Building south of Wyandotte, Okla. Paul Barton will conduct Native American Rites.
Pallbearers will be Milt Edens, Rob Kintner, Jerry Lee Logan, Mark Morrison, Nick Birdsong, Andrew Cox and Mike Morrison. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald Logan, Ronald Birdsong, Thomas Birdsong, Lonnie Birdsong, Boo Lane and Edward Teehee.
Interment will be at Bassett-Grove Cemetery in Grove, Okla.
Amber will lie in state at the AOA building until time of service.
Services are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla.
