Floyd Everett Bowen, 76, died Tuesday at Candler Hospital. He was born in Bulloch County and was a member of First Wesleyan Methodist Church and a former member of the merchant marine. He was a pest exterminator for more than 50 years.
Survivors: his wife, Thelma Strickland Bowen of Savannah, two daughters, two sons, sister, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Sipple's Mortuary.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Sipple's Mortuary and burial in Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
