Mr. Verner “Baldy” Durst of Fredericksburg passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 19 at the age of 86 years.

Verner was born on February 28th, 1929 in Llano County, Texas to Edmond and Alma Grenwelge Durst

He married Florence Wunderlich on August 7, 1955 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, Texas

The body will lie in state in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg until 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 21st and from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with
Funeral Services at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow in Der Stadt Friedhof with military honors.
