Hope M. Martin, 84, of East Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, died Thursday in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

She retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation; was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Steelton, and Hershey Eastern Star Chapter 509; past worthy matron of Eastern Star Chapter 539; and a graduate of the former Steelton High School.

Surviving are her husband, George L. Martin; three sons, Robert L. and William A., both of Steelton, and Richard L. of Dauphin; a daughter, Barbara Anderson of Paxtang; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in her church. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery, Steelton.

Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church.

Stone Funeral Home, Steelton, is handling arrangements.
